Manchester United can move up to sixth in the Premier League title if they win this game, reducing the gap on Chelsea in fourth place to just three points.
It’s certainly been an interesting season for David Moyes and his team so far but United are building a little momentum during the festive period and if they win this lunchtime, it will be five wins on the bounce in all competitions.
There is plenty of incentive for the home side today as well and Hull could move into the top half of the table if they confine United to their sixth defeat of the season so far.
Hull have a very decent defence so far this season, which has conceded the same number of goals as Manchester City near the top of the table and no side has conceded fewer goals in front of their own fans.
It should be a fascinating 90 minutes of football.
