Should Arsenal have been awarded a penalty against Chelsea?

Willian appeared to bowl over Theo Walcott in the first-half of the clash at the Emirates Stadium on Monday night.

Arsenal and Chelsea played out a tense 0-0 draw on Monday night, with two evenly matched sides struggling to manufacture chances in the wind and rain of north London.

However, despite the stalemate, Arsenal can feel somewhat aggrieved that they were not awarded a penalty in the first half of the encounter.

Theo Walcott received the ball in a dangerous position in the Chelsea box, when Willian backtracked and looked to win the ball from the England winger.

However, on first sight it appears that the Brazilian made contact with the Arsenal man, who went to ground.

If the penalty had been awarded and converted, it would have forced Chelsea to come out of their defensive mindset somewhat and probably would have meant a more end-to-end second half.
