All the latest news and gossip from the past 48 hours at Stamford Bridge.

Chelsea take on Arsenal tomorrow - so we start our round up with team news ahead of that fixture.

Chelsea are welcoming back Branislav Ivanovic from a one game ban, and is expected to be back in the right back position tomorrow. Cesar Azpilicueta will continue at left back - as Ashley Cole is left out once again.

John Terry will start but Michael Essien is suspended after picking up his fifth yellow card of the season at Sunderland.

Jose Mourinho believes that there are no managers better than himself to lead this Chelsea side to success:

"In football nobody is untouchable, but I will not be looking over my shoulder, because I know for which reason I came, I know what kind of job I was asked to do. And to prepare this Chelsea 'new' team - that we expect is Chelsea's new team for about a decade; the same way the other team was a Chelsea team for almost a decade - I don't think Chelsea can have a better manager than I am.”

Demba Ba is seemingly distancing himself from any potential move to Arsenal. The Senegalese striker, who is down the pecking order at Stamford Bridge, was linked with a move to The Emirates in January:

“People talk a lot about me joining Arsenal. But there has never been an approach from them.”

Inter Milan are now being linked with the player. Chelsea are currently trying to sign Fredy Guarin from the Nerazzuri - and they are said to be eyeing up Ba as a makeweight in any deal.

Chelsea are being heavily linked with Luke Shaw once again this morning. Ashley Cole has been out of favour this season and Jose Mourinho is hunting for his long-term replacement.

Shaw is considered the perfect candidate considering his recent good form and youth. However he will be expensive and he is also demanding first-team football at the club.

Kevin De Bruyne’s anticipated exit from Chelsea seems to be progressing smoothly. He does not seem to be a part of the plans at Stamford Bridge under the tutelage of Jose Mourinho and is now expected to be on his way to Bayer Leverkusen.

His agent is said to have begun brokering a deal - which could be worth in the region of £12.5 million.

Diego Costa’s name is in the headlines again - as Chelsea are the latest Premier League side linked with the Spanish forward.

He has been banging in the goals for Atletico Madrid this season and that has seen the likes of Arsenal and Liverpool linked with the player.
