Tottenham could be sweating over the future of 24-year-old Sandro next month.

Angel Leon, the player’s agent, has said that a number of Serie A clubs are interested in signing the midfielder.

“He is playing consistently, even though he knows that in Italy there are several clubs that are interested,” Leon told Sky Italia.

Ajax coach Frank de Boer says he is honoured to be linked with a switch to Tottenham Hotspur.

Spurs have been in contact with the Ajax boss over a potential move to White Hart Lane. However, de Boer has said all of his attention is on his job at the Dutch club.

“If there is interest from Spurs, I am very honoured. But I have my full attention at Ajax,” he told Fox Sports.
