Paul Pogba has been at the centre of intensive transfer speculation in recent months, with links to Europe's biggest and best clubs.
Despite the copious amount of attention the 20-year-old is attracting, officials in Turin are confident the player will stick around in Italy for years to come. And has been tipped to eventually fill the void that will be left by legend Andrea Pirlo.
However, recent contract negotiations seem to be stretched out and Juventus director has announced that the player will not get a deal before Christmas.
' There will be no announcements under the tree.' Marotta told Italian TV.
'I don't think anything will be sorted out before Christmas, but we are calm as there is an idyllic relationship between us and the players.
'They consider Juventus to be their home, their natural habitat and it would be hard for them to find something better'
Although the contract is far from urgent regarding Pogba, it still leaves door open to speculation and according to BetVictor they have Arsenal priced at 10/1 to land the Juventus star.
Only Paris Saint Germain at 6/1 is priced shorter than Arsenal with Premier League rivals Manchester United being priced at 14/1 and Chelsea at a very lengthy 33/1.
Pogba has been in inspirational form since leaving Manchester United for Juventus in 2012 and is now considered by most if not the most promising player, at least, one of the most promising players in Europe.
Whilst I believe he would a terrific signing by Arsenal, I doubt that the player will leave in January and if he does go, I would be surprised if it is back to England.
