Victor Valdes was not giving anything away when he spoke to the press on Friday.
"The time is coming to start to look at things but I haven't decided anything yet," Valdes said.
"For me the most important thing is to respect Barcelona right to the end. I won't make anything public during the season that may have a negative influence.
"What's important is that the team wins and we win the titles that we are hoping for."
Was the Barcelona goalkeeper's silence representative of anything more meaningful?
Perhaps the 31-year-old has not yet agreed terms with a new club... and is waiting for potential suitors to step up to the plate.
Where he could he go?
The longest-standing reported interest so far has come from Monaco, with the Ligue 1 side looking for an experienced goalkeeper to gel within their current squad, somewhat similar to Ricardo Carvalho's signing in defence.
Beyond that, though, could a move to the Premier League be what Valdes would really prefer?
Manchester City may be in the market for a new goalkeeper in the long term, with Joe Hart dropped from the first team and Costel Pantilimon not necessarily considered an adequate replacement.
Other than that, a number of clubs would surely consider signing a proven Champions League stopper as an upgrade to their current no.1s.
If Valdes has his way, however, we will have to keep guessing for quite a while.
