BetVictor have opened up markets on a number of players and we take a look at three names they have made Tottenham Hotspur favourites to sign in January.
Dimitar Berbatov - 3/1 - Fulham
Managerless Tottenham are heavy tipped by BetVictor to bring back former fan favourite Dimitar Berbatov. The Bulgerian has been backed at as little as 3/1 to secure the Fulham strikers signature in January, as questions about the players future still continue to cause speculation. The 32-year-old has been criticised on a number of occasions this season, and with just 3 league goals to his name, it doesn't make sense for Spurs to go back in for him. Arsenal, West Ham and Celtic amongst others are reportedly in for him, as his future looks to be anywhere else other than Craven Cottage.
Mohamed Salah - 3/1 - FC Basel
21-year-old Egyptian winger, Mohamed Salah, has been in inspiring form for Basel this season, catching the attention of many Premier League sides. Tottenham have been priced as little as 3/1 to net the winger but only just edge out Liverpool, who have been priced at 4/1. Chelsea and Manchester United have also been reported to be in the chase but have been priced up at much longer odds. Despite being young and relatively unproven, the 17 goals in 27 games at international level shows that he could be a talent worth taking a chance on.
Javier Hernandez - 8/1 - Manchester United
Manchester United's frustrated front-man has also been tipped to join Tottenham in January. Despite scoring 54 goals in 129 appearances for United, the striker is still sat as third or fourth choice at Old Trafford. He has hinted that he could be tempted away from United, having become more and more frustrated at limited first-team chances. Tottenham are placed first in a long-list for the player that includes Arsenal, Valencia, Chelsea and AC Milan. He would be a major coup for the club and would no doubt be a huge asset to whoever the incoming manager is.
