Rumours continue that Schalke’s 20-year-old talent Julian Draxler will leave his club soon to sign with Arsenal or Chelsea.
German magazine Sport Bild recently reported that the Bundesliga side Schalke are trying to get a swap deal with Premier League team Chelsea in place. The deal includes Kevin de Bruyne, who has been recently outcast by Jose Mourinho, and Julian Draxler.
Another rumour had it that Schalke’s diamond in the rough talks often with Arsene Wenger and that the Gunners are favourites to sign the German international, while the player himself has made overtures to Real Madrid.

However Schalke’s general manager Horst Heldt has told Bild that he sticks by his guns that no deal will happen in January, a point Draxler has always respected too.
Heldt was asked if he could exclude the fact that Julian Draxler might leave in the winter. He said:
“As a manager you always have to deal with actual queries. As of today, however, there are no queries and Julian did not want to go.”
Is that a hint, that Draxler will take it slow after all the transfer fuss?
He might have listened to his mentor Raul, the long time Real Madrid striker and former teammate of Draxler at Schalke. They reportedly have a close relationship and Raul advised Draxler to stay a little longer at Schalke.
With the World Cup in June, Draxler has always maintained he wants a guaranteed first team spot at Schalke to give him the best shot of appearing in the tournament, rather than upset his rhythm by moving mid-season.
This one it's likely will have to wait until the summer.
