The Anfield teenager added to his growing reputation by netting a superb individual strike against Blackpool on Wednesday night.
Although Raheem Sterling has broken into the Liverpool first-team and is playing a role in the club’s assault for the top four, another homegrown hero continues to show that he has all the attributes to be considered by Brendan Rodgers.
Jordon Ibe is one of the brightest prospects in English football currently, and showed his considerable abilities once more against Blackpool in the FA Youth Cup on Wednesday night.
Picking the ball up close to the half-way line, the 18-year-old beat a number of defenders and the opposition goalkeeper to score this fantastic effort in the 22nd minute of the clash.
Ibe has only made one Premier League appearance for the Merseyside club, but needs to start to get regular first-team football. A loan move in January would make sense, with plenty of clubs surely eager to have the England under-19’s star for six months.
