Transfer news from Manchester City, Arsenal, Manchester United, Chelsea, Liverpool, Fulham and Tottenham Hotspur.
Manchester United are now being linked with a new left-back to become the successor to Patrice Evra. They have long been linked with the potential signing of Leighton Baines from Everton but it is now claimed that they will be moving in for Porto defender Alex Sandro in the winter.
The 22-year-old has six caps for Brazil and cost Porto £8 million two years ago.
It is reported that Canadian rapper Drake has talked Jermain Defoe into a move to Toronto FC. Last week it was reported that a deal had been concluded for Defoe but that seemed to lose momentum over the weekend. However it is believed the Toronto rapper got in touch with Defoe, as an ambassador for the team, to let him know how much he is wanted at the club.
Defoe is expected to sign and then return to Spurs on loan until March.
Chelsea are set to battle AC Milan for VfL Wolfsburg left-back Ricardo Rodriguez. The 21-year-old Swiss international has been one of the star players in the Bundesliga this term.
However both teams will have to wait until the summer to have any chance of signing him - as Wolfsburg plan on keeping him until the summer.
Iker Casillas continues to be linked with a Premier League move. The Spanish international is currently second choice at the Santiago Bernabeu and that has seen him openly admit he could leave the club.
Manchester United are prepared to allow Wilfried Zaha go out on loan. David Moyes confirmed that there had not been any bid made for the player but should a suitable option become available he would be open to a temporary move away for the player.
Paris Saint-Germain are said to be eyeing up both Chelsea playmakers Juan Mata and Eden Hazard. Meanwhile Newcastle United’s Yohan Cabaye remains on their wanted list.
Finally and Dinamo Moscow claim no contact has been made over their star winger Balazs Dzsudzsak. The Hungarian has recently been linked with moves to Liverpool and Fulham but Dinamo insist only the coach, former Chelsea player Dan Petrescu, can make the final decision.
