The news that Manchester City could miss Sergio Aguero for up to eight weeks may not have made pleasant reading for The Citizens, but the supporters of the club's rivals rejoiced that their defences will not have to be subjected to a bombardment from one of the most devastating forwards not just in the Premier League - but in world football.

For Liverpool fans, any omission of Aguero from a line-up that could face them has been treated as good news as replacement Steven Jovetic is regarded to be a far easier player to handle.
