Confirmed - Tottenham Hotspur v West Ham United line-ups - Adebayor starts for Spurs

White Hart Lane

Tottenham Hotspur entertain London rivals West Ham in the last eight of the League Cup, kick-off from White Hart Lane at 19:45 GMT.

Tottenham Hotspur: Lloris, Walker, Rose, Capoue, Chiriches, Dembele, Sigurdsson, Townsend, Lennon, Adebayor, Defoe

Subs: Friedel, Soldado, Holtby, Chadli, Eriksen, Fryers, Fredericks

West Ham United: Adrian, O'Brien, Rat, Collins, McCartney, Diarra, Taylor, Collison, J.Cole, Jarvis, C.Cole

Subs: Jaaskelainen, Noble, Diame, Demel, Morrison, Maiga, Chambers

This was always going to be a fascinating match following the sacking of former Tottenham Hotspur boss Andre Villas-Boas.

Tim Sherwood takes charge of the team and he has made some interesting changes as Spurs look to avenge the 3-0 home defeat they suffered at the hands of the Hammers earlier in the season.

Tottenham reached this stage after they defeated Hull City 8-7 in an absolutely brutal penalty shoot out in the last round.

The Hammers won 2-0 away at Burnley to set this tie up and Sam Allardyce will try and make things as difficult as possible for the home side.

West Ham were successful in the Premier League match because they stuck together as a unit, dug in deep and were well backed, all things they’ll be hoping for a repeat of this evening.
