Tottenham Hotspur transfer news: Swoop for Dutch coach could be pointless, loanee wants to leave the club

A round up of key transfer stories about Tottenham Hotspur.

One of the biggest transfer rumours concerning Spurs today relates to a Dutch coach; Guus Hiddink.

Hiddink is one of the names to have been linked with the job at White Hart Lane but his agent Cees van Nieuwenhuizen has said the rumours shouldn’t be taken seriously.

“I would be surprised if Hiddink goes to Tottenham. I can hardly imagine that happening,” he told Voetbal Primeur.

On loan Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Jake Livermore is keen to make his deal with Hull City a permanent one.

Livermore has impressed in the Hull midfield this season starting 14 games for the Tigers so far this season.

“Tottenham seem to be coping without me so I don't see any reason why there would be a recall - If the two clubs could sort something out I'd be more than happy to look at it,” said Livermore.

Tottenham Hotspur will not be signing Leandro Damiao.

The long term White Hart Lane target has moved from Internacional to Brazilian side Santos, signing a five-year contract with the club.

Damiao has been routinely linked with Tottenham over the last few months and has moved for a reported figure of €13 million.
