Speculation is rife about players that could possibly be moving in the January transfer window, and it's not only fans that like to get in on the act - Bookies like it too.
Skybet have opened up a market on the possible destinations of midfield starlet Ross Barkley, with Manchester United topping that list at 6/1. Whilst it would be a fantastic signing for United, I don't think Barkley nor Everton would be too keen on the idea.
Whilst Barkley was brought through by David Moyes, he was very rarely first choice and last season he spent time out on loan to both Leeds United and Sheffield Wednesday.
I also think the fact that Barkley wasn't one of the first players on his list when he moved to United shows how little notice he took of him, because you would want a player with that much ability at your club, regardless of size!
Roberto Martinez has really allowed Barkley to shine at Goodison Park and should rightfully be credited with the players vast improvement this season. Going from an average Football League midfielder to an outstanding Premier League one during 8 months of his tutorship, does allow him the right to be smug about the players development.
And with the recent bad blood between Moyes's arrogance with regards that Everton show lay down whenever United want to take a player is just another reason to why they wouldn't want to sell.
Chelsea are second on the list, coming in at a steady 10/1, Arsenal are third for the players signature at 16/1, surprisingly Manchester City is only 20/1 despite previous links with the player.
Tottenham and Liverpool are also named at 28/1 and 33/1 respectively, or in layman's terms 'no chance'
I would personally be surprised if Barkley was to go anywhere in January, but I guess money talks and if someone wants him bad enough, the bid will be big enough.
