A round up of the key transfer stories connected to Tottenham Hotspur this morning.
Tottenham are winning the race to sign Edin Dzeko from Manchester City according to the Daily Star.
Dzeko finds himself out of the City Premier League starting side, behind Sergio Aguero and Alvaro Negredo in the pecking order.
Spurs are an obvious choice considering their need for additional attacking support but Serie A and the Bundesliga have also been mentioned as possible destinations for the 27-year-old.
Another potential attacking target is former Manchester United striker Giuseppe Rossi.
The Express and the Guardian have reported interest from the North London club for the Fiorentina man who has scored 12 goals in 14 games this season.
Both papers have suggested that Spurs are ready to blow a staggering £30 million on a deal, after spending over £100 million on new players last summer.
Inter Milan have reportedly opened talks to sign Tottenham’s Erik Lamela.
Lamela moved to White Hart Lane from Roma last summer in a £30 million deal but has failed to nail down a regularly starting place for the senior side.
Inter are thought to want Lamela on a loan deal until the end of the season with Tottenham apparently mulling over the pros and cons.
