On a day where Tottenham Hotspur have parted company with Andre Villas-Boas, the Europa League draw probably took a back-foot with regards to everything else.
The club's form in the competition has been great this season and they will be one of the favourites to win the trophy. The last 32 draw will see them pitted against Ukrainian side Dnipro. The tie means that a former Spurs manager will be returning to White Hart Lane. Juande Ramos who won the League Cup for the club will return for the first time after being sacked in October 2008.
Ramos of course has a great record in this competition having won it back to back with Sevilla in 2006 and 2007. Ramos was a wanted man, and was brought in to replace Martin Jol in 2007. However he only lasted just over a year, and was sacked when Spurs had only picked up two points from the first eight league games of the season.
If they overcome Ramos' Dnipro side, they will go on to face PAOK or Benfica in the next round.
Swansea manager Michael Laudrup said he wanted to draw a big team in the next round of the Europa League, and they have done just that. Perhaps the hardest draw they could have had, as they will meet Rafa Benitez's Napoli side. They were very unlucky not to progress in the Champions League having finished on 12 points in Arsenal's group.
It will be a huge game for Swansea, one of the biggest in their history, and also a very tough one. Gonzalo Higuain, Lorenzo Insigne, Pepe Reina, Marek Hamsik and others will be on show at the Liberty Stadium.
It doesn't get any easier if Swansea do overcome Napoli, and they will probably go on to face FC Porto who must will play Eintracht Frankfurt in the last 32.
