VIDEO: United loan star continues scoring streak in Eredivisie

Marnick Vermijl made it two goals in three games for NEC, as he netted in his side’s 4-3 win over Roda on Saturday.

Manchester United have a total of 14 players out on loan this season, but Marnick Vermijl is probably one of those that has slipped under the radar slightly.

The 21-year-old Belgian right-back is spending the season with NEC in the Netherlands, and is picking up valuable first-team experience in the Eredivisie.

The defender has also seemingly found his shooting boots over the last couple of weeks, with Vermijl scoring for the second time in three games against Roda on Saturday.

Vermijl is a product of the Standard Liege academy, and moved to join United back in 2010. He has represented Belgium at under-16, 17 and 19 level, and has broke into the under-21 team this year, making four appearances so far.

The United defender has made the right-back slot his own at NEC, and has started 12 games in the Eredivisie this season.
