The big clash of the day hasn't disappointed. Here are the first four goals...
A big test of Arsenal's title credentials got underway at dinnertime as the Gunners travelled to the Etihad Stadium to take on Manuel Pellegrini's side.
The home side got off to the perfect start, with Martin Demichelis flicking Samir Nasri's corner into the path of Sergio Aguero, who contorted his body to send an unstoppable volley past Wojciech Szszesny and into the top corner.
But Arsenal hit back as Mesut Ozil capitalised on an uncharacteristic mistake from Yaya Toure to pull the ball back for the onrushing Theo Walcott, and the returning winger placed the ball calmly past Costel Pantilimon to equalise for Arsene Wenger's men.
But parity was restored for just eight minutes, as Toure played an outstanding pass with the outside of his foot, finding Pablo Zabaleta down the right hand side, and his ball across the six yard box was turned home by Alvaro Negredo to give City the lead at half time.
Arsenal needed a good response after the break, but just five minutes after the restart, City extended their lead. A stray pass from Ozil was pounced upon by Fernandinho, and the £30m Brazilian midfielder curled the ball around Szczesny and into the corner.
