Arsenal teenager Kristoffer Olsson did not hold back when discussing the conditions Arsenal's youth side lost in yesterday.
Arsenal's senior side were not the only ones to lose in Naples yesterday.
The UEFA Youth League game between Napoli and Arsenal ended in a 2-1 win for the Italians. However just like the senior team, it was enough for the young Gunners to qualify.
The good news for Arsenal's youngsters was they ended up topping the group, with the draw to be made on Monday.
The match itself was a close one. Napoli took the lead in the first half through Gerardo Rubino, before Arsenal's Chuba Akpom struck back in the second.
It was Akpom's third goal in four UEFA Youth League games, but wasn't enough to claim a point as Napoli's Gennaro Tutino scored a winner.
Akpom's strike was set up by a Kristoffer Olsson cross, and the Swede had some choice words after the game, criticising the pitch.
Tough match on a shit pitch, gutted to lose! But we finished top of the group and we are through and in the end that's all that matters!!— Kristoffer Olsson (@krisolsson) December 11, 2013
Still if Olsson believes the pitch he played on was bad... he should have seen the conditions Galatasaray and Juventus played on today after the original Champions League game was postponed due to bad weather.
