Juventus are preparing to restart their crucial Champions League clash at Galatasaray after it was called off in heavy snow and according to press reports they must win if they are to sign Nani.
The Bianconeri have been said to be keeping track of the Manchester United man for some time.
Nani hasn't been a key figure for David Moyes and certain Italian press sources have been insistent that a Juve bid is on its way in January.
And now the Quotidiano Sportivo is claiming that Nani's future will be at stake when Juventus take on Galatasaray.
The Old Lady only need to avoid defeat in a hostile atmosphere in Turkey to get through to the knockout stages.
Quotidiano Sportivo reports that doing so would earn Juventus at least £15m from TV rights, UEFA prize money and sponsors, which sporting director Beppe Marotta would use to strengthen the squad.
Nani is said to be the first target Juventus would approach in the winter window but the paper believes the bid would be for a loan until the end of the current campaign with the right to make a permanent offer in summer.
However, one of the major obstacles for a deal would be that Nani has featured in United's Champions League campaign and so wouldn't be able to feature in Juventus' European exploits.
