It's almost a year since Demba Ba joined Chelsea and he has been written off several times over the past 11 months.
The 28-year-old has fought his way back into the side of late, and bagged his third goal of the campaign tonight.
Or was it actually an own goal? Here's a look at it...
Ba spoke after the game, quizzed if it was in fact his goal, and had this to say - crediting manager Jose Mourinho's specific instructions for helping him 'score it'.
He said: "I think so, I hope so. I mean the manager told me to go in the back post at the corners, that's what I did against Southampton.
"I saw the defender coming, I had to touch it."
Whether it was truly Ba's or not it looks like he's claiming it. If Mourinho's tactical plans can find him more opportunities he may just end up being a valuable goalscorer yet.
However Ba has let the cat out of the bag now, and defenders will be sure to watch for him on the back post at corners. Time for some new tactics...
