Expected Napoli side to face Arsenal includes Reina, not Hamsik

Napoli have some injury worries ahead of the visit of Arsenal, but goalkeeper Pepe Reina is expected to start.

Reports in Italy suggest that Napoli goalkeeper Pepe Reina will overcome injury problems to face Arsenal, but Marek Hamsik won't even get a seat on the bench.

Napoli's Champions League fate hangs in the balance after an impressive campaign in a difficult group.

The Partenopei know that they must beat Arsenal to have a chance of progressing to the knockout stages but even then a place isn't certain.

Arsenal are in a safer position and must only avoid a three-goal defeat at the Stadio San Paolo to get through.

Napoli have been off colour in Serie A of late and lost to Parma before throwing away two leads to draw 3-3 with Udinese last weekend.

One problem facing Rafa Benitez is injuries to key men and there have been some doubts over who will face the Gunners.

Goalkeeper Reina was rested for Napoli's draw with Udinese, replaced with Rafael, who didn't shine, but he looks likely to start.

According to Tuttonapoli.net, Gifted Slovakian playmaker Hamsik is out of the running and won't even get a seat on the bench due to a foot injury.

Swiss midfielder Valon Behrami was also suffering from foot pain but he is expected to play.

Napoli are likely to match Arsenal in playing a 4-2-3-1 with Gokhan Inler partnering Behrami in covering the defence.

Tuttonapoli.net has Lorenzo Insigne sitting on the bench while Dries Mertens, Goran Pandev and Jose Callejon sit behind the dangerous Gonzalo Higuain up front.

Probably Starting Line Ups according to Tuttonapoli.net:

NAPOLI (4-2-3-1): Reina; Maggio, Albiol, Britos, Armero; Behrami, Inler; Mertens, Pandev, Callejon; Higuain. Subs: Rafael, Cannavaro, Uvini, Fernandez, Dzemaili, Insigne, Duvan
