Ex-Tottenham star is living the dream right now says his mum

White Hart Lane

It seemed that after the transfer everything fell into place for the ex-Tottenham Hotspur winger.

Gareth Bale's impact in the Premier League at Tottenham Hotspur from 2007 to 2013 until he was transferred to Real Madrid can be summed up by the fact it took a world record fee to prise him away.

In an recent interview Bale’s mum evaluated the move calling it a dream come true for her son.

“He is coping fabulously,” Bale’s mother told BBC Wales.

“He’s got [assistant coach] Paul Clement there, who is British, which I think does help. Luka Modric, who was with him in Tottenham, that was great, that helped."

" [Cristiano] Ronaldo has been absolutely brilliant. He has helped him settle. You feel good and you start to play well and I think that is showing now.”

To underline what Ms Bale said: After some growing pains Gareth Bale seemed to have settled, in recording eight goals and six assists in seven games.

An unbelievable number which means that Bale is responsible for an average of two goals each match.

Bale’s mother might be right as she finished by stating:

“He’s living the dream, isn’t he?”
