All the latest news and views from Stamford Bridge.

While rumours abound over which Chelsea forward will be the likeliest to make way in January as the club are linked with multiple big-name striking supplements in the mid-season market, one man who may leave in the summer, rather than winter, is Samuel Eto'o as the Cameroonian is apparently pondering the merits of an MLS switch.

Eto'o, who has scored three goals this season, sees his contract at Stamford Bridge expire in the summer, the same period where Romelu Lukaku returns to West London, write The Guardian. Furthermore, Eto'o will soon begin pre-contractual negotiations with various MLS outfits, perhaps including Los Angeles Galaxy, DC United and Club Deportivo Chivas USA.

Manager Jose Mourinho, meanwhile, is ready to oversee the return of left back Ashley Cole into his first team as early as the Champions League group game concluder against Steaua Bucharest. It will be his first appearance for almost five weeks. If Mourinho can secure a victory against the Romanians, it will guarantee a top spot finish for the Blues.

Former player and club legend Didier Drogba, one of the most powerful hitmen of the Premier League and an all-time Chelsea great, has made the astonishing claim that, ahead of his move to London in 2004, he would have rather stayed in France due to unfinished business.

He honestly stated, as reported by The Express: 'I didn’t want to move. I had started something with Marseille and I didn’t finish it. It was frustration because I had to leave; both clubs agreed.'

And finally, in a unique Men's Health piece, Petr Cech has revealed that his typical diet is eggs, fruit and coffee, that his gym focus is core work and dynamic workouts and that he is now scared of nothing on the pitch as everything scary that could happen, has already happened to him!
