Tottenham already have a small collection of talented Belgians in their midst with Jan Vertonghen, Nacer Chadli and Mousa Dembele vital cogs in the Andre Villas-Boas machine.
But they were also linked with another Belgian talent this summer.
Radja Nainggolan, currently with Cagliari, has been an ever present for the Emilia-Romagna outfit since signing a permanent deal with the club in 2010 - and his performances in Serie A caught the eye of AVB and co last season.
However, he dropped a hint recently that he might have to leave the club - in order to earn a place in the highly competitive Rote Duivels side.
He has been in good form for Cagliari as well this season so it is no surprise that he is being linked with a move once again.
This time the team reportedly interested in snapping him up are Juventus.
The Bianconeri, who are gunning for yet another Serie A title this campaign, are reportedly in touch with the players agent over a future deal and to further exacerbate the rumour mill’s churning - he was said to have been spotted in Turin Monday looking at houses.
However the player has moved to deny such claims on his Twitter account stating:
“I’m not looking at any homes in Turin. I am in Cagliari. A day of rest.”
So if Spurs are still keen there is certainly a chance of getting him.
However, it seems unlikely.
If there is one area of the team the club certainly don’t need to improve it is the centre of midfield.
Lewis Holtby, Paulinho, Sandro, Etienne Capoue, Mousa Dembele, Gylfi Sigurdsson and the likes of Tom Carroll out on loan at QPR mean this area is certainly covered for now and the foreseeable future.
So maybe Radja should start looking at houses in Turin, as he is unlikely to be searching for them in London.
