Stephan El Shaarawy is back in action after missing 12 games for AC Milan but transfer rumours are gathering strength and the Turin-based newspaper Tuttosport implores him to leave San Siro.
El Shaarawy was the talk of Europe at the start of last season and was Serie A's top scorer at the halfway point of the campaign.
But the 21-year-old struggled for form in the latter part of the season and has been sidelined by a persistent toe injury.
The paper states that Milan's current Christmas tree formation doesn't have space for him and that Kaka has made him obsolete.
It is also suggested that the imminent arrival of Keisuke Honda will limit El Shaarawy's playing time still further, removing any possibility of securing a place in Italy's 2014 World Cup squad.
The suggested solution is for Milan to send El Shaarawy out on loan in January.
It has been reported that El Shaarawy rejected a loan switch to Genoa, the club he grew up at, because he wants to fight for his place at MIlan, but time is running out if he is to impress Cesare Prandelli.
