Transfer Bin: Why Matias Suarez is going nowhere near Everton

Everton fans can cross speculative rumorus about bringing their own Suarez to Merseyside off their list.

The Transfer Bin - Where the day's worst transfer rumours are put out to hopefully never be seen again.

Step forward... Everton and Matias Suarez.

The Toffees are flying at present, although there should also be a certain amount of planning underway to unearth top forwards considering Romelu Lukaku and Gerard Deulofeu are both on loan.

So it's natural they will be linked with strikers - but the Argentine striker linked over the weekend is not coming in January.

The rumour cropped up over the weekend, started by SportsDirect News, who do not list a source - simply stating 'they understand' Everton are after him.

"The 25-year-old has had an impressive start to the season with 7 goals and 7 assists in just 13 games, looking back to his best after an injury-hit campaign last year, and is back on the radar of several top clubs, having attracted strong interest from Arsenal in the past. However, it now seems that Everton are the club showing the strongest interest as January approaches, SportsDirect News understands."

Here's the problem chaps...

Suarez ruptured his cruciate knee ligament in late October - And he is not going anywhere in January.

In fact it's even doubtful he is going to play again this season,  as per UEFA's report 'Season over for Suarez'. dated on October 30 2013.

The injury was the Argentine's second cruciate knee injury in his past three seasons, he only returned to first team action for Anderlecht this March.

Now either the publication responsible needs to use better sources in future - or simply do their research next time.

Rubbish rating: Complete and utter rubbish!
