93% pass accuracy, 86 touches: Starlet shines as Liverpool defenders face-off

Andre Wisdom and Jack Robinson went head-to-head in a promotion 6-pointer that saw Steve McClaren's Derby County storm to a 5-1 win.

On-loan young Liverpool defenders Jack Robinson and Andre Wisdom have both been enjoying fruitful campaigns in the Championship but as they went head-to-head there was only one winner between the two.

Andre Wisdom is quickly building an outstanding reputation for his displays for Derby County, which have seen them burst into the play-offs since his arrival at the club. He was again a key piece in the puzzle to the dismay of his Liverpool team-mate, who struggled to stop his impact down the right hand side.

And the statistics paint the picture of Robinson's woes and Wisdom's highs.

Derby County managed to get 19 shots in on the Blackpool goal through-out the game, with 41% of their attacks going down Wisdom and Robinson's side (Derby's right)

The difference between the amount of passing and possession tells the story of Derby's dominance. Derby had 72% of the ball making 606 passes in total, while Blackpool could only manage 237.

As far as personal performances go, it was also Wisdom that had more joy.

86 touches, 61 passes, 2 key passes, 93% pass accuracy and an assist shows his dominance and impact in the game.

Jack Robinson on the other hand endured a torrid afternoon, and was the player penalised for the controversial penalty that allowed Derby a foot in the door, early in the second half.

30 touches, 15 passes, 0 key passes and 60% pass accuracy in comparison to his team-mate, illustrates just how he went home with his tail between his legs.
