It's been a week of great goals, from Luis Suarez's 40 yard strike to Oussama Assaidi's late winner for Stoke against Chelsea.
But the goal of the week - maybe even the goal of the season - came from the game in Argentina between Patronato and Independiente. With the game locked at 0-0 in the 87th minute, it seemed the game was destined to end in stalemate.
However, when Independiente won a free kick inside their own half, nobody quite expected it to be so game-changing. Midfielder Marcelo Vidal stepped up and hammered the ball over the top of goalkeeper Sebastian Bertoli, sending the Independiente fans into jubilation.
The clip below shows that Bertoli was only about 8-10 yards off his line when Vidal strikes the ball, but the sheer power and velocity of the shot has the ball flying over his head before he can reposition himself.
After a week of stunning goals in the Premier League, it seems the South Americans are fighting back with incredible strikes of their own.
