Aaron Ramsey has been near-perfect for Arsenal this season, but wasn't his usual influential self against an excellent Everton side.
The Gunners were held 1-1, with the Welshman one of three players withdrawn by Arsene Wenger on 68 minutes.
He recorded a pass completion rate of just 77 per cent, compared to Mikel Arteta who made 88 per cent of his passes count.
Could this be proof he was feeling tired after his superhuman efforts this season?
That is hard to say definitively, but we can display the stats of his previous four performances for Arsenal to comparison:
v Hull - 90 per cent
v Cardiff - 90 per cent
v Marseille - 88 per cent
v Southampton - 88 per cent
The last game he dipped below 80 per cent was against Manchester United, when he completed 75 per cent of his passes.
So was that and the Everton game just two high intensity games in which he struggled? Or is it just too much to expect him to produce the same type of intensity week in and week out?
