It may have been three days, but I for one have still not tired of watching Luis Suarez’s hat-trick-completing goal against Norwich City. The 40-yard volley may have taken the plaudits, but the chip and side-foot volley for the Uruguayan’s third rubberstamped his reputation as the most in-form player in England.
Liverpool fans will be expecting another Suarez showcase this afternoon, but West Ham United will have other ideas, and they will have surely been working all week on ways to stop the Reds’ marksman. Not that that helped the Canaries.
West Ham have not won at Anfield for 50 years, but the Hammers’ away defensive record points to a tough afternoon for Brendan Rodgers’ men. Only Arsenal have conceded fewer goals on their travels than Sam Allardyce’s side.
Don’t be surprised to see West Ham “park the bus”…and be even less surprised when Suarez almost invariably finds his way past it.
What do you think the result will be this afternoon?
