Match to be played on Saturday 7th December 2013 at 12:45. Venue: Old Trafford, Manchester.
Manchester United have little time to dwell on their defeat to Everton, they host Newcastle in the weekend's early kick-off.
Team news will become clearer following David Moyes press conference on Friday, but there is a certain amount we can predict already.
Moyes has a big blow to contend with via the suspension of Wayne Rooney who picked up a fifth booking of the season against Everton.
There is by contrast good news in that Phil Jones returns from his one match ban. Evidently the big news will concern Robin van Persie, so what did David Moyes say about that?
"I don't know (when he will return). We've been trying to get him back for a few weeks. But he is not ready yet. It's his groin. It's a sore groin injury and nothing desperately serious."
With a quick turnaround time for Saturday's game, we feel it is unlikely Van Persie will be fit to start this fixture so it's time to make other plans.
Here's how we predict Manchester United will line-up against Alan Pardew's side:
Rafael Evans Vidic Evra
Valencia Kagawa Januzaj
Adnan Januzaj was one of the few United players to show spark against Everton after coming of the bench, and we expect him to be rewarded with a start for his efforts.
We can also see Tom Cleverley being taken out of the firing line due to his poor form of late, and Marouane Fellaini try to gain his first win as a starter in the Premier League this season.
A Kagawa-Hernandez partnership in attack is on paper a promising one, and this will be a golden chance for them to deliver on that potential. The thorn in the side of this selection is Danny Welbeck who could be chosen in place of Chicharito or even Valencia to play wide right.
