Recent reports that Serie A giants Inter and Juventus are ready to swoop for Manchester City's forgotten striker Stevan Jovetic have no substance, according to the player's representative.
The 24-year-old made his name in Serie A with Fiorentina before arriving in England last summer in a deal reported to be worth £22m.
But the Premier League has been purgatory for Jovetic who has been plagued by fitness problems and has made just one start so far, prompting speculation that he may be ready to return to Italy.
There have been recent reports linking the Montenegro international with both Inter and Juventus, but agent Fali Ramadani has poured cold water on such talk.
"There has been absolutely no contact with Inter or Juventus," he told Calciomercato.com.
Ramadani was also asked about Jovetic having problems settling in England.
"He has only had physical problems," he explained. "Now he has fully recovered from injury and next week he will be back in training with everyone else.
"There are also no problems with Manuel Pellegrini. Everyone knows that for a player who only arrived a few months ago and hasn't played just because of an injury to leave is unthinkable.
"If there are problems when he is back in shape then we will see."
