Video game producers EA Sports have released a telling infographic that details how the world effectively plays it's best-selling product: renowned football game FIFA.
Most gamers grab the latest incantation, FIFA14, to test out just how good Cristiano Ronaldo is who, according to the chart below, is the most prolific goal-scorer with 35.2 million goals, far ahead of Karim Benzema (26.7 million goals) and Mario Mandzukic (20.2 million goals) while Barcelona star Lionel Messi 'only' has 19.4 million goals.
The top three most widely played match-ups do not include any Premier League representatives, as Real Madrid versus Bayern Munich is the most commonly played with 9.6 million matches (with Bayern edging the most wins 40% to Real's 39% with 21% draw games), El Clasico is second with 8.9 million matches and Barcelona against Bayern is third with 2.5 million.
Clubs in the Premier League are still popular, however, as reflected in the official fan count. Real Madrid have the most fans with 717,000, Barcelona are second with 643,000 but Manchester United are a close third on 631,000 while Arsenal are fourth on 598,000.
Interestingly, Christian Benteke is the most transferred footballer despite his rating of 79.
