I am casting my eye back to this exact day, the 5th December 2013, but a year earlier.
What were the main tales from that day? What big events were happening in Premier League football?
Here are some of the big scoops from the 5th December 2012...
Henry the Third
Thierry Henry ‘agreed’ to join Arsenal for a loan spell - the third time he would sign with Arsenal. The club legend and record goalscorer had been on loan at The Emirates the year before in the MLS off-season and he was training with the club yet again from late 2012.
However, despite this report, no deal ever came to fruition and Henry has still only spent the one loan-spell at The Emirates.
In the present day he is once again training with the Arsenal squad in the off-season - but Wenger insists that no loan deal is on the cards.
Manchester United lost at home to CFR Cluj in their final Champions League game of the Group Stage. United has already qualified for the next round and Sir Alex Ferguson took the opportunity to give the likes of Scott Wootton, Nick Powell and Alex Buttner a game.
However a wonder goal from Luis Alberto meant the Romanian minnows claimed a famous victory.
These days Cluj are ninth in the Romanian top-flight.
Drogging back to you
The club legend was in the midst of the Chinese off-season and a contract wrangle with his then club Shanghai Shenhua - who has topped managing to pay his extortionate wages.
Drogba wanted to remain fit with the African Nations Cup coming up in January - and he also secured a move to Galatasaray off the back of his stint at Chelsea.
No sign of him returning again anytime soon though.
