Step forward Glen Little, with a majestic goal for Ryman League side Wealdstone.
You will struggle to see a better goal than this all season.
Glen Little scored what may be just about the finest goal of his career for non-league Wealdstone against Dulwich Hamlet on Saturday afternoon.
The Wealdstone midfielder picked up the ball inside his own half, beat one man, jinked his way to the edge of the penalty area, and then sent a glorious chip over the goalkeeper, who could only watch as the ball sailed over him and nestled in the net.
It was an outrageous goal by the midfielder, who will be remembered by many fans for his spells at Bolton Wanderers, Burnley and Reading.
It was a strike that the likes of Gareth Bale and Lionel Messi would be proud of – not bad for a 38-year-old coming towards the end of his career!
And it could be a crucial goal for Wealdstone, who are dreaming of promotion from the Ryman League Premier Division having moved into second place courtesy of their 4-1 win.
