Chuks Aneke was the man in the headline for his late winning goal for Crewe earning the plaudits from both fans and team-mates. Crewe midfielder Abdul Osman was delighted for the young Arsenal man giving him a glowing review in the process.
''We are all delighted for Chuks and pleased for everyone. Chuks is the main man and he is always very good for us.
''We all know what he can offer us and what he can offer us is always very good.''
Another Arsenal man in the headline (once again) was attacker Joel Campbell, scoring within three minutes to send Olympiacos on there way to a 3-0 win. The Costa Rican has been the main man for the Greek side this season, proving himself to be one of the best - if not the best player in Greece.
Despite being an unused substitute for Bournemouth in their impressive 1-1 home draw with Brighton, the Nico Yennaris was faced with numerous camera's asking what he wants to get out of the loan move.
He has drawn similarities between the Cherries and Arsenal during the game and can't wait to get started. He admitted that he will be drawing on his wealth of experience to get the most out of his loan spell, in particularly the time he spent training with Thierry Henry recently.
Elsewhere, Hector Bellerin made a fairly uninspiring debut being on the receiving of a 3-0 hammering to league minnows Yeovil Town. Ignasi Miquel played the full 90 for Leicester in their impressive 3-0 win against Millwall and there also games for Francis Coquelin and Johan Djourou in the Bundesliga with Johan drawing and Francis losing to Borussia Monchengladbach.
