Antonio Sanabria is becoming one of the most coveted young players around but Roma are attempting to jump to the front of the queue to sign him.
The 17-year-old striker plays for Barcelona's B side at the moment but has already been capped by Paraguay.
And it seems that Sanabria is in a hurry to graduate to the first team after recent reports that he is demanding a promotion or he will leave.
The release clause in his contract is a tiny £2.5m and seems to have attracted several top teams.
The report states that the Giallorossi are preparing to send a representative to Barcelona in order to negotiate a deal.
Roma are lacking an out-and-out striker, which is one of the reasons they have seen their title challenge falter in recent weeks.
The Eternal City side are expected to strengthen in January and Sanabria would easily fall within their financial capabilities.
