Arturo Vidal has extended his contract at Juventus until 2017, the club's website has confirmed.
The attacking midfielder has been winning headlines this season with his spectacular performances for Juventus both in Serie A and in Europe.
Vidal netted a hat-trick to down FC Copenhagen in the Champions League last week and has reportedly attracted interest from several big clubs.
Amongst those clubs are Manchester United who were said to be considering a bid for Vidal.
But today's news makes any move much more unlikely and gives weight to Vidal's recent declarations that he is keen to stay in Turin.
"Juventus Football Club is pleased to announce that Arturo Vidal has today put pen to paper on an extended contract which keeps him with the club until 2017," a statement on Juventus' website says.
"Today’s agreement marks the latest chapter in El Guerrero’s Juventus career, a story the determined performer will strive to enrich by achieving the club’s next principle target come May – a historic third consecutive Scudetto title."
Vidal has made 100 appearances for Juve in all competitions, scoring 32 times - a record which makes him the most prolific scorer in the Antonio Conte era.
