Usually, the same old names get thrown around when it comes to the Premier League's top scorers: Sergio Aguero, Luis Suarez and Wayne Rooney.
This season, Daniel Sturridge, Olivier Giroud and Loic Remy have added themselves to the debate, with an impressive 24 goals scored between them so far.
But there is one man whose goals have been symbolic of his side's start to the campaign. Powerful in the air, elegant on the ground and Herculean in strength, Romelu Lukaku has been Everton's main threat by a distance in the Premier League.
That is no disrespect, of course, to the rest of Roberto Martinez's team; the Toffees have adapted brilliantly to the Spaniard's preferred style of play and have had each compartment of their side to thank for a terrific run that has taken them as high as fifth in the table.
Yet, with eight out of their 21 league goals this term, Lukaku has provided the finishing touch to their eloquent build-up play and an efficient outlet for an efficient team.
And as such a prolific focal point, one wonders just how far the 20-year-old can go. Could the Belgian be on his way to the Golden Boot this season?
It will be no easy task, with the likes of Aguero, Suarez and Rooney bound to keep scoring. Add Alvaro Negredo and Remy into the equation and you have a race against the tide.
But Lukaku does not look like backing down anytime soon. If Everton keep putting four past teams like Stoke, the 20-year-old is bound to add to his tally. And it is not like he shies away from the competition against the bigger sides, either.
Sturridge's recent injury, meanwhile, has eliminated some of the competition in the near future, with Giroud also unlikely to steal the goalscoring limelight in an Arsenal side full of attacking talent.
So while Lukaku has his best years ahead of him in a promising career up front, what is to stop him from making the biggest impact of all this season?
