Will Paul Pogba snub Arsenal and Chelsea for PSG?

Paul Pogba

According to reports Paris Saint-Germain manager Laurent Blanc has made former Manchester United Paul Pogba top priority for January.

Since signing with Serie A club Juventus former Manchester United Paul Pogba has made huge strides. It's no surprise therfore that more and more transfer rumours circulate.

As we reported earlier, international bookmakers list Paris Saint-Germain as favourites to sign Juventus star Paul Pogba followed by Arsenal and Manchester United. Now there are some reports that underlines the bookies’ odds.

According to the French daily ”Le Parisien” Paris Saint-Germain manager Laurent Blanc asked club owner for new players in the next transfer period. Top priority for Blanc would be former Red Devil Paul Pogba.

The 20-year-old French international is considered among the best young talents in world football along with the Bundesliga’s Julian Draxler from Schalke, who is linked to Arsenal as well.

In his last six games Pogba recorded two goals, two assists and was awarded with the man of the match twice.

Sure only a few clubs wouldn’t want to sign the Juventus’ young gun considering his huge potential. But PSG might have the personnel and financial background to convince the Italian club to ignore their long term vision with this kid and cash in.

Pogba has furthermore ties to PSG as his agent also represents striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic. Pogba might know former French national team coach Laurent Blanc too as he played with the U18 and U19 national squad in Blanc’s time with the Blues.

It helps as well when a manager makes you a top priority. Or do you disagree?
