The big Arsenal news from the past 24 hours....
Arsenal have been linked with two big transfer deals over the past 24 hours, circling on two high profile players.
Brazilian website Lancenet write that Arsenal have had a €8 million offer refused for striker Alexandre Pato by Corinthians. The Brazilian club are said to want a minimum of €12 million for the forward who has fallen out of favour with the club's supporters since missing a crucial penalty two months ago. Tottenham were also said to be interested in him.
Another rumour gaining more traction today is the potential deal linking Alvaro Morata to Arsenal on loan in January. The Spanish under-21 international is said to be available from Real Madrid, with it claimed the Gunners have convinced him to snub Tottenham. The Star report the deal is on, but reference the same Spanish reports who claimed the deal could happen which appeared over the weekend, rather than any new information. There is nothing official from either club on the situation.
Lukas Podolski has become the latest Gunner to wish former assistant manager Pat Rice well in his recovery from cancer. The ex-player underwent an operation over the weekend. Podolski posted a photo on Instagram of his shirt he was going to dedicate to the club legend.
West Brom's Youssouf Mulumbu claims he has been approached by the Gunners over a potential January deal. We have taken a look at whether the defensive midfielder would be a good signing for Arsene Wenger.
And finally, loanee Joel Campbell scored again for Olympiakos over the weekend. It means the Costa Rican now has a goal or assist ever 57 minutes since beginning his stint with the Greek side.
