Tom Carroll could feature for Rangers as they take on Doncaster Rovers in the Championshipi
Midfielder Tom Carroll is in contention to feature for QPR in their trip to Doncaster Rovers tomorrow.
Carroll suffered an ankle injury while playing for England Under-21s in October, a knock which forced him to return to parent club Tottenham Hotspur for treatment.
However, after passing a fitness test earlier this week, the youngster has been deemed fit to play and could make an appearance for the clash at the Keepmoat Stadium.
And there is further good news for Rs manager Harry Redknapp in the shape of Junior Hoilett and Jermaine Jenas, both of whom return to the squad having suffered hamstring problems.
Joey Barton is also in contention despite suffering a hand injury in last weekend’s 1-0 win over Charlton Athletic.
Redknapp said: 'Tom’s back with us and that’s good news. He’s available, which is good, and Joey’s fine.'
Centre-back Nedum Onuoha remains on the sidelines with a hamstring injury, while Bobby Zamora is not expected to return from injury for several weeks.
QPR head north to play a side which they have beaten on the last three occasions, the most recent of which came in March 2011, and a 1-0 win which kept QPR on course for promotion to the Premier League.
That, however, remains QPR’s only win at the Keepmoat since 1951, and Redknapp’s side will be eager to avoid a slip-up which could see them lose ground on Burnley and LeicesterCity.
