There are rumours in England and Italy that Liverpool are watching Juventus man Sebastian Giovinco with interest.
It has been a tough time for Giovinco, who has had a limited role in the Old Lady's Scudetto and European campaigns.
The blistering form of Paul Pogba, the magnificence of Arturo Vidal and the longevity of Andrea Pirlo plus Juve finding a striking partnership that works in Carlos Tevez and Fernando Llorente, has seen Giovinco given fewer opportunities to shine.
But the slight framed attacking midfielder is recognised as a great talent and according to Sports Direct News and Tuutomercatoweb, he could be snapped up by Liverpool when the transfer window opens.
Brendan Rogers is said to be a fan of the 26-year-old and has reportedly asked for him to be added to the squad for 2014 along with Javier Pastore.
Giovinco, who has the excellent nickname The Atomic Ant, is allegedly valued at around £10m by Juventus sporting director Beppe Marotta.
Juve are likely to be somewhat reluctant to part with a player of such undoubted ability but the Bianconeri are expected to attempt to reinforce their squad in January and may need the funds from Giovinco's sale to make that happen.
