Thorgan Hazard is being hotly tipped to win the Golden Boot at Zulte-Waregem this season.
Perhaps not - but after an excellent season out on loan in 2012-13 for the lad you have to admit he is looking every bit a Premier League player in the making.
Thorgan signed for Zulte-Waregem on loan at the start of last season and at that time nobody would have been able to predict the success that was to come for both the player and the club.
Unfancied and unfashionable the side finished second in the league stage of the Belgian Pro League and to top off his season he also received his first ever call-up to the Belgian national team.
This season, despite a so far disappointing European campaign, the side are once again challenging in Belgium - and Hazard has been at the heart of it all once again.
In fact, until recently he was the most effective player in Europe, being involved directly with more goals than any other player.
Now the likes of Cristiano Ronaldo and Kostas Mitroglou have overtaken him - but he is still in rich form.
Tonight he travels to Wigan Athletic to play the Championship side in the Europa League Group Stage.
And in the build up to the game he has been speaking about his hopes for the season - including the possibility of winning the Belgian Golden Shoe for the season.
"The Golden Boot? I think, obviously, since everyone is talking about me!”
He currently has nine goals in the league - behind the likes of Hamdi Harbaoui, Ivan Santini and Michy Batshuayi - although his team-mate Junior Malanda is convinced he will win the accolade this term:
"I say Thorgan Hazard and not because he is my friend. Compared to last season, he improves his stats.”
Chelsea fans will just hope he brings that form back to Chelsea when he finally gets his chance at Stamford Bridge.
