USA’s Major League Soccer has not always had a good reputation. The highest football league in the United States is seen as a refuge for old pros, who are kicking it back, or locals, who couldn’t make it in Europe. Still that might be a fair assessment. Just for comparison all MLS-players combined have a estimated market value of not more then £141m, that’s a little bit more then League One.
But nevertheless the MLS is able to bring some excitement as their final four of their Goal of the Year nominees shows.
One of the goals is scored by Arsenal legend Thierry Henry, who scored a beauty, while playing for the New York Red Bulls, with an artistic overhead kick out of nowhere, proving that the old Gunner still has it.
