Alessio Cerci will get a chance to impress Manchester United scouts this weekend when he plays for Torino against Genoa, according to La Stampa.
Cerci has always been seen as a great talent but at the age of 26 has arguably never quite shown his full potential.
The Roma youth product represented Italy at every age group from Under-16 to Under-21 and has nine full international caps.
But it is only now at Torino that Cerci is having a chance to make a real impact in Serie A after having few chances at Roma and spending loan spells at Brescia, Pisa and Atalanta.
Torino signed Cerci in a co-ownership agreement from Fiorentina in August 2012 and has come into his own for the Granata.
Amongst Cerci's highlights of the season was scoring the goal that saw Torino draw 1-1 with Roma and end the Giallorossi's record-breaking winning run.
La Stampa claims that Torino are aware that Manchester United scouts will watch Cerci take on Genoa and that the Premier League giants are weighing up an offer, possibly as soon as January.
