Which players may Arsenal manager and Carlo Ancelotti wish to discuss? A Liverpool player features too.
Arsenal instantly benefited from Mesut Ozil's arrival at the club, and it was not handled at all well by Real Madrid.
Players hit out at the decision, before Ozil was talked down in the media - seemingly in an attempt to justify their position, and only now are they enjoying some positive form.
Earlier this week in an interview with The Times, Madrid boss Carlo Ancelotti quipped that Arsene Wenger 'owes him dinner', for selling Arsenal the German.
So with that in mind, we have put together a shortlist of five further players the two managers may want to discuss over a meal, and no doubt a few glasses of wine.
Arsenal have been linked with the striker ever since the summer, even though Arsene Wenger recently commented he doubted Madrid would consider selling such a big player. Meeting Ancelotti face to face would allow him to find out just how committed they are to the Frenchman, and what sort of price it may take for them to part with him.
Arsenal could still be considered a central defender light, in case of injuries, and last week it was claimed Wenger is very keen on Frenchman Varane. The youngster played for France last week with Laurent Koscielny suspended, and could be ideal for Arsenal. Wenger could find out about Varane's injury problems, or even use them to talk Ancelotti into a sale.
"Go on Carlo, let us have Bale on loan for a few months, just to wind up Tottenham good and proper..."
Arsenal tried their best for Luis Suarez in the summer, but could not convince Liverpool to sell. Real Madrid are considered to be ready to up their interest in the Uruguayan, and the two managers could compare notes on him and even try to out bid each other over dinner. Maybe £1 at a time.
"Carlo, have you heard of a player called Nicklas Bendtner? He said he expect Real Madrid to be his next move..."
At this point Ancelotti ups and leaves...
