CONFIRMED: Manchester City line-up v Viktoria Plzen – Aguero and Dzeko start

Manchester City Etihad

Here is the Manchester City line-up for this evening’s Champions League match against Viktoria Plzen.

Starting XI: Hart, Richards, Lescott, Demichelis, Kolarov, Milner, Nasri, Garcia, Fernandinho, Dzeko, Aguero

Subs: Pantilimon, Zabaleta, Boyata, Navas, Toure, Huws, Negredo

Manchester City are playing at home…so surely there is only one outcome? Fresh off the back of the humbling delivered to Tottenham on Sunday, the Blues face Czech side Viktoria Plzen knowing qualification for the knock-out stage is already secured. So will they put their hypothetical feet up, or deliver another master-class in finishing?

Joe Hart returns to the City starting line-up for the first time since his error-enforced rest, but the match comes too soon for Vincent Kompany, while David Silva and Stevan Jovetic are also absentees.

With Bayern Munich almost certain to win the group, City will be hoping to keep their recent momentum going, and head to Germany with at least a chance of leapfrogging the reigning European champions.

What do you think the result will be this evening?
