Liverpool loan update: Spaniard feels the wrath of Bale, Ronaldo and co.

Suso Liverpool

A brief look at the Liverpool players progress serving time at other clubs.

Suso has been Almeria's shining light in La Liga this season, but not even he could stop the mauling that Real Madrid put upon his loan side.

Cristiano Ronaldo scored the first goal in the 3rd minute, showing incredible vision and movement in the box to get the chance and slotting it away nicely.

However, it did take Real Madrid another 58 minutes of play to get the second. Karim Benzema smashed the ball in from 25 yards, leaving the goalkeeper no chance. Bale, Isco and Morata finished off the rout, leaving the Liverpool player feeling disappointed after the game.

Andre Wisdom was able to notch another win on the board as Derby County seem to be going from strength to strength under new manager Steve McClaren.

The clean-sheet would have been the cherry on the cake for the youngster, as he now looks to help mount a serious promotion push with Liverpool target Will Hughes.

Sunderland and Stoke City went head to head in the Premier League over the weekend, and both Liverpool loan stars were named on the bench.

Fabio Borini managed to get around 20 minutes of playing time but ultimately not enough to make his impact on the game as Sunderland lost 2-0. Oussama Assaidi remained on the bench for the duration of the game and could only congratulate his team-mates on their impressive win.

--

Conor Coady played the full 90 minutes in a much-needed win for the Blades at the weekend.

He was booked in the 40th minute but besides from that can be happy with his performance, giving manager Nigel Clough some much-needed rest-bite after back to back losses.

--

Elsewhere, Krisztian Adorjan remained on the bench for FC Groningen during their match, and Pepe Reina  played the full 90 minutes for Napoli during their 1-0 loss to Parma.
